So I was watching TLC...
So we recently got cable again and I can't stop watching TLC!! I am addicted! Let me tell you, "A Baby Story" and "Bringing Home Baby" are not doing any thing good for my current case of baby fever! But the real point of today's blog- "Kids by the Dozen." On Monday nights TLC always has shows about multiples and large families- they mesmerize me! I mean when I watch them I am just completely fascinated and inspired! I by no means want 14 kids but I do want a large family and I just love to see how they organize, shop and run their families smoothly! I only have one kid and I am not half as with it as these moms! Then again, since they have more kids (a lot more) they HAVE to be more organized! All the families I have watched so far have been Christians and most homeschool. I only hope I can be half the woman that these women are! The latest episode I watched was last night about the Arndt family. Along with everything else this family has undertaken they have a ministry they run out of their home called Safe at Home. Here is their Website: www.famteam.com- you should check them out! Pretty Incredible! Anyway- it just gets me thinking and dreaming about our future!

Well here is our little crazy man on (and off) his potty! We started potty training the week after his birthday and he is doing great with it! We hardly ever have dirty diapers anymore- only wet ones, which is very nice for mama! Having our diaper sprayer (which is hooked right up to our toilet) has been very nice to rinse the potty out- I don't know how non-cloth mamas do it!
Prefold Madness
Big Boy Bed!
He has made the transition very well- better than expected! The bed is in our room at the foot of our bed but it seems to be far enough away from us to not disturb him when we go to bed. We started night weaning at the same time and I think it has helped him sleep longer stretches. He is typically only waking up one or two times a night and falling back asleep pretty quickly- a nice break for mama! We are going on week 4- wish us luck as we continue!
My Little Blog
Well, I have tried blogging before and not been very successful. However, recently I have been finding so many wonderful ideas for crafting and what not on blogs that I thought I would start one myself! I hope to share everything from family news, to our adventures in cloth diapering, to my latest crafty projects, to my faith, to news about my company (Chic & Savvy Mamas) and whatever else pops into my head! I hope you enjoy!
