This is MY space- like it or leave!

Lately I have been feeling very restricted with my blog- like certain people who frequent it are passing judgment on the things I write, on a personal level.  This grieves me because my blog is the only real place I have for just me and it acts as my therapist a great deal of the time.  As a mom of young kids, as many of you are, I have very little time to myself or things I do just for me.  My blog is my release and one of the few places I can just get right down and honest about stuff!  In fact, this post on All That is Good could have been written by myself nearly word for word!

This invasion into my blog has caused me to stray from writing much lately, which in turn makes me feel bottled-up and without an outlet.  I have gone so far as to consider creating a new blog, contacting my real blogging friends and those I know enjoy my blog and read it in love, and then abandoning this one completely.  But that really wouldn't be fair to myself- I have worked incredibly hard to get this blog where it is and a few sour readers shouldn't ruin that for me!

So, if you happen to be one of the people out there who has a problem with what I write, please do not come back.  Don't try to take this space away from me.  There are precious few things I have left to hang onto and this blog is one of them!  Find something better to do with your time than frustrate both yourself and me!

Have I made myself clear?  Alright then, that's all I have to say about that!

UGH! That is frustrating! I'm sorry you have had that happen lately, and I hope these people pay attention to this post and stay away. It's the unfortunate part about being a public blog...I've considered making mine private so I know who's stopping by. But that wouldn't work for me, either.
Anyway, I do enjoy your posts, and although I've been too crazy busy to enjoy blogging much myself lately, I hope you will stop by when I get back in the game.
Much love!

I totally understand where you are coming from and I agree with you!! I don't get it why people read blogs they don't like. If you don't like it, than stop reading, right?! :)

Just wanted to let you know that I've enjoyed reading your posts. Hopefully those who don't like your writing will quit reading. Why keep reading something you don't like? Don't let them stop you from something you enjoy!

AMEN sister! I support your thoughts 100%. I never really understood why someone would read a blog if they don't like it???

Duh-move on!!!! It seems pretty simple to me.

I find that most people that say rude things, say them out of pure jealousy. Seriously...they would like nothing better then to see you hurt and frustrated. Keep your chin up and be confident in knowing you are a good person, wife, mama and have a good thing going with your blog!

To all those jealous people out there... GET A LIFE!!!

I'm so sorry this has happened to you...you want me to beat them up :) LOL...Don't let it get you down, they are not good people to take the time and say mean things (some advice I need to take too). I hope you know that there are way more people out there that LOVE your blog than people that take the time to be meanies.

I'm sorry. Feeling violated sucks rocks. Btdt a few times in the last year or two being attacked in that kind of way, and I've ended up not being as personal on my blog as I used to be. :( Do what you need to do for your own safety/sanity.

good for you!!!! I never could understand that either - didn't their mom ever teach them if they don't have anything nice to say, then just don't say anything!!!! just for the record, I've always enjoyed your blog :)

Heck yeah! I don't understand sometimes, why people have to thrive on being hateful to others? Get somethings else to do! Get a different blog to read and STOP judging others b/c it makes you feel special!

I totally enjoy your blog, and although my blog has fallen WAY behind lately, I've always made time to stop by here and listen to what you have to say!

Thank you! Keep posting!!! :)
